if you cant afford botox , whats the best skin care products to buy?

Posted by | Skin care | Friday 3 September 2010 11:06 pm

im 32 , and because of life stress, i feel ive prematurely aged slightly . and also i think lack of sleep has contributed to.

i have dark lines from the corners of both eyes stretching to my cheekbones, open pores , frown lines in forehead , skin blemishes , and wrinkles where there weren’t before.

im in the uk.

can anybody recommend a skin care brand , face wash, moisturiser , face scrub , a sun block brand – or whatever that i could go out easily and buy, get easy access to ?

could you name and be detailed about what to buy , ie ; face wash , face scrub etc – naming all the names AND in what order to use them ?

thanks

There are lot’s of things you can use but t they will only stop you from getting new wrinkles. They won’t get rid of the ones that you already have.

Botox has nothing to do with skin care. It is a nerve deadening agent and its detrimental effects have still not been tested over a long period of time.

Keep out of the sun. Get plenty of sleep. Get plenty of fresh air. Eat plenty of fresh fruit and veg. Don’t smoke. Go to the sauna (still a bit controversial but Scandinavians look good for it). Forget creams and things – unless you have a real problem with your skin they just ruin the normal moisturising process that your body handles quite well all on its own.

Sounds like you may need anti-aging or something similar. Stay away from Botox!!!

The best Anti Aging product on the market is called AgeLOC by NuSkin. You can only purchase it at this website: http://www.iface.nsedreams.com Now, AgeLOC is pricey.

A lower cost alternative, since you are only 23, is called the 180 product which you can also purchase at this website. Buy the kit and then replenish the individual product replacements as needed. If you like the product, you can become a member or preferred customer for a very deep discount which can be sent to you automatically( every 3 months, 6 months, etc.) as often as you like.

The 180 system can make pretty dramatic results in skin. I know of a lot of models who use this product becasue it is based on a sophisticated blend of hydroxy acids. This is better than the Retin-A that the dermatologists prescribe, which is only an alpha hydroxy acid. This product can help to combat Acne, fine lines and skin texture problems. It also has a moisturizer and toner in the kit. Using the entire line coordinates to improve your skin.

I recommend that you use the Glacial Marine Mud mask twice per week for one month prior to using the 180 system. This will give you the best results. I also recommend the Enhancer Skin Conditioning Gel made of Aloe Very and other beneficial products. This will give you a very noticeable improvement to the skin on top of the 180 and skin care regimen that you use.

Well, this year, I’ve just started using the brand ROC, which can be found in drug stores. It’s made in France, so I believe it’s all over Europe. Alpha-hydroxy helps with exfoliating dead skin cells, and when the under layers are revealed, you can pamper your skin and use a moisturizer with a sun block (ROC is what I use), an eye cream (especially made for the under eye area and won’t sting!), and for evenings, after cleansing, use their serum. I noticed a difference in my skin in four days, and I am 50. I have little wrinkling thanks to sun block use for over 20 years. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to exfoliate, moisturize, and use a fierce sun block! It’s never to late to start caring for your skin. You are still young, so lucky you! If you find yourself flush with a bit of money to spend, I would recommend having dermabrasion done. Laser treatments (you can split them up and pay in increments) will knock out any age spots that might be of concern. Good luck, and pamper yourself. You’ll find that it’s a de-stresser as well!

Arbonne’s RE9 anti-aging line ESPECIALLY the corrective eye creme. Arbonne is in the UK too. Just shop online at http://www.myarbonneaddiction.myarbonne.com and when it is time to checkout it will ask what country!

    This product works miracles!

Have a look at Boots serum in their No 7 range. It’s called “Protect & Perfect” intense beauty serum. Costs around £20 a bottle but lasts a long, long time – just a couple of squirts for whole face application, then use a moisturiser during the day and at night.
It came out top in “Which” tests about a year or so ago, when it was declared as “the only one which works”
You can probably pick up your sun block at the same time – the range for children is most likely the most gentle available.
Please don’t worry about “slight aging”, think of it more as “character lines”, or lines of experience. We all get them in the end and they are a badge of honour, as the Queen Mother said when shown a flattering portrait “where are the lines to show that I’ve lived?”

Clinique, Clinique, Clinique! I recommend everything they sell in their skincare range.
For eyes, puffiness, circles, fine lines etc use the Clinique All About Eyes
For Skin Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser which is the best moisturiser I have ever used
For Anti-Ageing the Clinique Youth Surge cream.

If you can’t afford to splash out and buy all these full size while you try. Maybe buy the mini pots which last a month or so from ebay or somewhere like http://www.discount-cosmetics.net and then when you see how amazing they are you can buy the full size items knowing that they will work for your. Can’t recommend them enough!
