My Hair Growth Journey

Black hair can grow our hair is just fragile and we must keep it moisturized in order to reduce breakage. Their are several online sites to learn and build your knowledge of healthy care practices such and Hairlista.com or longhaircareforum. I follow a specific regimen on a daily and weekly basis which has allowed me to go from NL to apl in 6 months. Feel free to ask questions I will help you build a regimen or just be there for support. I do not own the right to the song but the photos are all me. Follow my blog for more hair care information and natural oil recipes befreehavefunandbejazzy.blogspot.com

@sadebaby11 it takes more than water. It takes proper care and keeping the hair moisturized to grow. A huge problem with breakage is a lack of moisture incorporate a moisturizer into your regimen and keep you hair clean and scalp clean and you’ll see results. extra virgin Coconut oil is awesome 4 the hair u can use it to seal in your selected moisturizer. Products that I avoid are products that include mineral oil & petroleum! Since it now cold outside I use Natural Shea Butter to moisture during the day and I seal with coconut oil during the morning and before bed i use Ic moisturizer leave in and seal with coconut oil. I belong to great online hair community called Hairlista. You will find all of your answers there

@NeneBoo589 It depends on if you’re doing a hard protein treatment or light For a hard 1 I suggest Aphogee 2 step For a light treatment Aphogge 2 minute Reconstructor. I do a light treatment every week especially the week I am going to relax. About every 6 weeks I do a hard protein treatment

My advice is to keep your scalp and hair clean. Wash it on a regular basis!! NO Grease at all only use natural oils in your scalp like coconut, almond, or some other natural oil in your hair. Keep a good balance between moisture and protein and you will reach your goal length. I will be posting another video around the first week in december cause i am trying to get to BSL I am about a inch away not!! If I can do it so can you.

Thank so much. I’m sure that you will reach you goal with no problem. I have noticed that the world is full of “nay sayers”. The proof is in the pudding. I will keep you posted on my results & you do the same…. MUCH SUCCESS to you.

Congrats on getting married!!! I am also glad that you were inspired by my video that was my goal. I just wanted to prove the Nay sayers wrong. Some people think you need to be mixed or have “indian” in you for your hair to grow. Well I will continue to grow my hair until MBL (mid back length) and then anything extra is a bonus!! I hope I can reach this goal by Summer of next yeat and I should be BSL (bra strap length) within the next 2-3 months (fingers crossed)!!! Let me know of your results!!
