this is a marvelous book it combines a practical guide with clear illustrations. It gave me lots of ideas to try out even for an amateur like me. I also loved the photos this is a beautiful book for the coffee table. Nicky is clearly a very talented writer. I am planning on giving this book to my friends daughters for christmas.

A really handy book to keep nearby at all times. It really explains what’s going on with your hair and how to deal with tricky problems. There are plenty of ideas too on dressing hair which my daughter and I love in particular. Great gift idea. . .

Having read quite a few books on the subject I think this book is one of the best as it gets straight to the real useful information and advice. It’s well written and presented in a way that’s informative and interesting. The step by step advice is easy to follow and the photographs are excellent. Will still go the hairdressers once in a while but will now be creating my own styles with confidence. Thank you for such a wonderful book. P
